In 2018, when Baker Hill Road District anticipated it might have to take ownership of 

Berkshire Mall for non payment of taxes the District worked with Berkshire Regional Planning Commission to look at possible redevelopment schemes at the mall.  

 

That Re-Use Plan is currently posted on the Lanesborough Town website, and can be viewed through the link below. The Re-Use Plan is also available from the

Berkshire Regional Planning Commission.

 

Funds for the study came from the Governor’s Office under the

Community Best Practices Program ($70,000) and a matching donation by

Baker Hill Road District ($50,000).
